Updates to Existing Features

Settlement/Payment Downloads

If you’re an independent contractor (IC) receiving payments/settlements via Openforce’s IC Pay, now there’s a better way to review and download your pay details. Similar to standard bank statements, your settlement details can now be downloaded by month.

  • All previous filtering functionality still available
  • Faster to download
  • Easier to review

Enrollment Expirations – Client View

Tired of stale IC enrollments getting stuck in your contractors’ grid? Now you have the ability to set a timeframe on workflows with an expiration date. For example, if you set a 30-day expiration on your enrollment workflow, any IC that does not complete it within 30 days will automatically decline and move them out of your enrollment grid. This helps reduce clutter to allow you to focus on the most current and engaged ICs to get them contracted fast. If you’d like to set up an expiration on your workflows, simply call Openforce Client Services at 877-267-8500.

More IC Data in Enrollment Grid Customization – Client View

You now have more at-a-glance IC details in the Enrollment Grid! City and state details for contractors are available through customization options in the enrollment grid.

CXT Software X Dispatch Integration for Seamless IC Profile Syncing

In a logistics landscape where “full speed ahead” is the order of every day, access to fast and accurate information can mean the difference between making on-time deliveries with qualified drivers and—well, not. Finding ways to streamline processes and operations has become critical to ramping up productivity and combating the constant pressure of the time-crunch.

Openforce addresses the need for speed by providing more efficient independent contractor (IC) onboarding, qualification and payment—but we know that once your ICs are up and running, they rely on dispatch software to get them where they need to go.

The challenge is that getting an IC’s driver record into your dispatch solution usually means a time-consuming manual entry for overburdened administrators and costly delays in getting new drivers on the road. The end result: operating at peak efficiency doesn’t happen and less work gets done.

That’s why Openforce is excited to announce it now integrates directly with CXT X Dispatch, so you can get your ICs on the road faster.

WHAT THE INTEGRATION DOES

With this new integration, Openforce clients can now connect their X Dispatch instance to Openforce’s Independent Contractor Management platform so that when a new IC is contracted in Openforce it will automatically create a driver record in X Dispatch.

The integration uses Openforce’s robust Contractor API—the key to Openforce’s ability to share data with applications and systems at every point of the IC lifecycle. So, more integration features are on the horizon.

WHAT IT MEANS FOR YOU

  • Instant, hands-off driver record creation
  • Eliminate costly errors and time spent on manual entries
  • Approved contractors can be dispatched quickly

HOW TO USE IT

In three simple steps, connect your CXT X Dispatch instance with Openforce from within the Integrations tab in ICM.

IC Profile Picture Capture

ID badges are critical to organizations of every size as they provide the foundation for each facility’s access and security. They are especially necessary for businesses that use independent contractors, such as contract drivers, where schedules change and evolve. Their visual identification becomes essential to display at all times in case their role or identity is questioned.

In our ongoing conversations with clients, we’ve confirmed that more transportation and logistics companies are using on-location physical badging to identify contractors at the docks. To help speed and simplify this process, Openforce’s IC Onboard offers a new feature that collects the IC Profile Picture during the contractor’s enrollment. This feature, combined with our expanding Contractor API, makes it possible for clients to directly print the ID badge from their in-house badging software.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Instead of taking photos and printing physical badges onsite, ICs may upload this information directly in IC Onboard during enrollment.

  1. Clients select the location(s) where this requirement is needed.
  2. IC Profile Picture feature is included in those workflows.
  3. ICs follow enrollment steps to upload a profile picture to their profile.
  4. Upon completed enrollment, ICs will see their profile picture located in the Profile tab.
  5. Openforce’s Contractor API allows clients to make a GET request to digitally receive the URL for the IC Profile Picture.
  6. Client prints ID badge on location.

For contractors enrolling via mobile devices, the upload feature functions in the same way it does today for other document uploads. Most smartphones will prompt ICs to either navigate to document or photo storage to upload an existing file. If the contractor doesn’t have a photo on file, they may also open the phone camera to take a new picture and upload.

Clients have the option to include or exclude the IC Profile Picture feature in their workflows. Furthermore, Openforce’s team of hands-on Project Managers are ready to assist clients that would like to include this new feature to address their location-specific needs.
